Patient Reviews

The only psychiatrist I’ve worked with who truly listens and makes me feel heard and understood. His calming presence has made a huge impact on managing my anxiety.

LS

Listened to my concerns and works with me to adjust my medication. The first medical professional I’ve ever had that actually paid attention to my history and takes it into account when prescribing medication.

FAQs

  • Yes, supportive therapy is integrated into medication visits as appropriate. If you need weekly psychotherapy, we can coordinate with a therapist while we manage medications.

  • Currently, Brain Bath only sees patients living in the state of Michigan & California. Check back soon as we work on expanding our services.

  • If medication is recommended as part of your treatment plan, we send prescriptions electronically to the pharmacy of your choice — no paper scripts, no extra steps. Most medications can be sent to any retail pharmacy. Some controlled medications (such as stimulants for ADHD) may have additional regulations depending on the state you live in and the pharmacy’s stock. We’ll review these details with you during your appointment so there are no surprises.

  • Our services are focused on adults, generally age 18 and older. If you’re looking for care for a child or teen, we can recommend trusted pediatric psychiatry and therapy resources in your area.

  • If you’re already on a psychiatric medication and are looking to transfer care, we’ll review your history and may request past records from your previous provider. In most cases, we’ll still need to complete an initial assessment before sending any refills. This helps us ensure the medication is appropriate, safe, and part of a treatment plan that fits your current needs.

  • You’ll need a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, plus a stable internet connection. We recommend using headphones for privacy and better audio quality. Before your first appointment, you’ll receive a secure video link through our client portal — simply click it at your scheduled time to join. There’s no need to download any special software.

  • Brain Bath is not an emergency service and we are not able to provide crisis intervention outside of scheduled appointments.
